Our organisation is dedicated to bringing world class Indian Classical Music/Performing arts to the campus community. Indian Classical Music, both North Indian and South Indian, Vocal and Instrumental and Classical Arts and artists are invited to perform for the benefit of the students and community members of UIUC and Urbana-Champaign.

President, Jasmine Field Orchestra
A group of music lovers formed Jasmine Field Orchestra in 2011 as a performance ensemble blending Chinese instrumental music with classical, pop, and jazz influences from the West. Our performances often include Chinese folk music and feature original works from resident composers. Instrumentation of Jasmine Field includes zhudi (bamboo flute), yangqin (Chinese Dulcimer), pipa (Chinese Guitar), guzheng (zither), and erhu(Chinese violin), along with orchestral strings, woodwinds, and brass, acoustic / electric guitar and bass, and drum set. As a Registered Student Organization at the University of Illinois, we aim to introduce Chinese culture through music performance and video. We welcome opportunities to perform, discuss, and present our work to campus and community audiences.
