Further information:
This is a grassroots festival to celebrate the vibrant music and arts communities in the Champaign-Urbana area and in the Central Illinois region.
Though many events are free, a Festival wristband will provide access to all events. Wristbands can be purchased (for $25 each) on-line at Brown Paper Tickets, at Heartland Gallery in downtown Urbana and at the CU Folk and Roots Festival booth at the Urbana Farmer’s Market in October. When you buy a wristband, your support will help make next year’s Folk and Roots Festival even better.
Festival volunteers are needed! Work a four-hour shift and receive a Festival wristband and a t-shirt. See the volunteer page for more info.
Word-of-mouth advertising will help the Festival so please tell your family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues.
Please check back regularly for schedule updates.
Your participation and support are appreciated – thank you!
