An evening of celebration with a catered Indian dinner, a keynote adddrss, and Indian music and dance. Rabindnath Tagore, poet,educational reformer and philosopher, was the first non-European to win the Nobel prize for literature in 1913. A year before, he gave a series of lectures at Channing Murray, then the Unitarian Church of Urbana.
