Description:

Let Mama Edie Armstrong take you on a journey through time and through space with stories you can tell and percussion you too can play, as we re-awaken the storyteller in all of us.

Mama Edie is a bilingual storyteller (Spanish/English), published writer, percussionist, speech/language pathologist, and voice-over artist. Whether fun and frolicky or somber and serene, Mama Edie's presentations are powerful reminders of our own beauty and strength and the gifts we are to the world.

Help Build a School Library in Zomba, Malawi! The Urbana Sister Cities Program and Students of the University of Illinois are working in partnership to help raise literacy rates at a selected primary school in Zomba, Malawi.
