Description:

This high-powered pairing brings together two great artists who share impeccable technique, extraordinarily expressive interpretative skills, and the most elusive gift of all- the ability to connect naturally and joyously with their audiences.

Isabel Leonard, who captivated Krannert Center audiences during her 2014 appearance with Nathan and Julie Gunn, recently made her mark on three leading roles with the Metropolitan Opera in one season and is enjoying a meteoric career path.

Sharon Isbin is a global guitar diplomat and this year’s ELLNORA | The Guitar Festival artist-in-residence, who “conjures an extraordinary palette of sound” (Washington Post). The two Grammy Award winners present an evening of Spanish music for voice and guitar.
